Argentine stocks slide on global recession fears

BUENOS AIRES Nov 18 (Reuters) - Argentine stocks fell sharply on Tuesday along with regional markets on persistent investor worries that a global recession is deepening.

The MerVal index of leading shares .MERV shed 4.47 percent to close at 944.83 points. (Reporting by Walter Bianchi; Writing by Kevin Gray)
