Argentine stocks fall 5.9 pct in global sell-off

BUENOS AIRES Oct 6 (Reuters) - Argentine stocks sank 5.9 percent on Monday, tracking losses in global markets.

The MerVal index of leading shares .MERV ended at 1,423.35 points, its lowest point since July 2005. (Reporting by Walter Bianchi and Helen Popper)
